This is a warm nutty brown that will enhance and enrich any type of timber product. Hazelnut bridges the gap between Golden Oak and Oak offering a beautiful wooden tone to the Natural Stains range.
Royal contains a naturally derived polyurethane based on linseed oil and a high-quality cross linking acrylic. Easy to use with a high-build formulation that enhances the wood grain and resists fading. Low odour product that is safer than creosote and plant and animal safe when dry.

Advice: It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If 1 coat is to be applied for a translucent look, apply Royal Clear on top to produce a harder surface finish. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver first.
